A recent addition to non-profits in North Carolina (May 2007), Clean Energy Durham came to FireStream with the idea for a Home Energy Share and Compare tool where residents could enter their home and car energy use each month, and then use the tool to anonymously compare their use to that of their neighbors. FireStream agreed to do partial pro-bono work on this important initiative as part of the firm’s community service by charging a lower rate and donating a number of hours. FireStream designed and built the database with login and registration capabilities.
“FireStream Media designed an online energy tracker for our organization and throughout a long and complicated design process anticipated and solved problems, contributed beautiful design, communicated clearly, and was a joy to work with. Their work gets our very highest recommendation!”
